An undeniable presence in Canadian Jazz and beyond, Toronto-based JUNO nominated musician, Heather Bambrick brings wit, humour, incredible vocals and an all-around good time to the stage at the Central Library in support of the CADME Contemporary Vocal Festival that reaches high school choral music programs all across the city. Come join us for an afternoon that will be sure to leave you smiling and feeling great about supporting future programs for our youth in music!
JUNO/ECMA-nominated vocalist Heather Bambrick has collaborated with Fred Hirsch, Gene DiNovi, Guido Basso, Rob McConnell, Peter Appleyard, Phil Nimmons, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
Heather has released four solo recordings, all of which were nominated for Jazz Recording of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards, including You’ll Never Know, which was also nominated for JUNO Award for Vocal Jazz Recording of the Year. Her most recent recording, Fine State was praised by critics and fans alike as her best work to date. Heather is also one of Canada’s top voice actors, voicing characters for commercial campaigns and several Emmy Award-winning animated series, including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Wild Kratts, and Justin Time.Along with all this, she is an award-winning broadcaster, hosting and producing shows on JAZZ.FM91 in Toronto for more than 20 years.
