Timothonius is a Canadian jazz pianist, music producer, and composer celebrated for his innovative contributions to music. He masterfully blends Jazz, Neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop, crafting a mesmerizing electro-acoustic fusion that captivates audiences. Timothonius’ musical journey began with formal training in Jazz Performance at Mount Royal University, followed by studies in Composition & Electronic Production at Berklee College of Music.

His sound is a throwback to yesteryear, one may find themselves deceived by the contrast between what they are hearing verses what they are seeing…

Una Noche en la Habana: A Tribute to Buena Vista Social Club 

5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Una Noche en la Habana means “A night in Havana”.  This ensemble was formed to fulfill a desire to explore further the rich musical tradition of pre-revolutionary Cuba and artists such as Compay Segundo, Ruben Gonzalez, and Ibrahim Ferrer.  This musical tradition gained widespread public recognition and popularity after the Buena Vista Social Club album and film of the mid-1990’s.

The robust sound of The Frontiers is filled with ingredients of jazz, country, folk, rock and pop. The group was the Calgary Flames first ever in-game band from 2019 – 2023 and has rocked stages across western Canada and shared their music at over 1500 gigs in 10 years. There’s no slowing down the wave that is carrying the project to infinity and beyond!
